Ancestry is offering free access to five yearbook records through September
7, 2018 11:50PM ET. Ancestry had more than 300,000 yearbooks >from all 50 states ranging >from 1900 to 1990. They also have Quaker College Yearbooks and Alumni Directories 1896-2003. You will be able to access up to 5 records in the featured collection for free through the end of the promotion-date given above. Go to: https://www.ancestry.com/cs/yearbooks You will be required to register with your name and email address and a user name and password will be sent to you. Once you have done your search and the results are returned, there will be a green sign that says "preview" . Be aware that on the right side where it says to sign up for "discover your family story with a free trial" and grey box that says start free trial will direct you to sign up for a trial where you must provide your credit card. This is not the 5 yearbook free trial. When you open the record on the left is a window that says sign up for this record- again this is not the free access but will direct you to a 14 day free trial where you must provide your credit card. If you want to save the image then right click your mouse and save it to your hard drive where you can print, save or email to someone, After 5 free records have been accessed or after the free access period ends you will only be able to view the records in the featured collection using a paid Ancestry membership. To see the full list of records in the featured collections see: https://search.ancestry.com/search/group/usyearbooks I have no affiliation with Ancestry and am posting this solely for the information of the reader.
