The newly formed Northeast Indiana Jewish Genealogy Society is excited to
host Avraham Groll, Director of JewishGen, on Sunday, November 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the Allen County Public Library Genealogy Center in Fort Wayne. At 2:00 on November 4, Mr. Groll will speak about JewishGen and how it can help with family history, including techniques for using the website. Following that presentation, at 3:30, he will discuss Jewish Migration Patterns, How Did Jews Get to Europe? Exploring patterns of Jewish migration, this second talk will focus on the background of the Jewish community prior to our genealogical records, including the creation of the Ashkenazi and Sephardic communities.The program is free and open to the public, and takes place in the world-class Genealogy Center of the Allen County Public Library.
