Yad Vashem Receives Donations Holocaust From Five German Companies #general

Five German companies announced on April 2 they would each donate one
million Euros (collectively 5millions Euros or $5.6 million US dollars) to
the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem. The
donations are for the expansion of the archives collection to the new
Heritage Collections Center which is scheduled to open in 2021. The five
companies are: Daimler, Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Bank, Volkswagen and soccer
club Borussia Dortmund. The companies said their effort is "a clear sign of
our solidarity with the victims of the Holocaust and as our responsibility,
past and future, in the fight against racism and anti-Semitism."
