(US) USHMM Organizes National Ceremony to Commemorate Annual Days of Remembrance--April 29 10:30 AM ET #general

Since 1982 the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum has organized and led
the national ceremony with Holocaust survivors, members of Congress, the
diplomatic corps, and community leaders in attendance during the annual Days
of Remembrance (Yom Hashoah).

This year's ceremony is scheduled for Monday April 29 at 10:30 AM ET at the
United States Capitol in Washington D.C. One may watch the ceremony by going

This ceremony in the US Capitol features a keynote address by Sigal P.
Mandelker, Under Secretary of the U.S. department of the Treasury. Under
Secretary Mandelker is the daughter of Holocaust survivors, a
candle-lighting ceremony by Holocaust survivors, a reading of victims'
names, and music by the US Army Band are part of the ceremony.
