The National Archives is celebrating the centennial of the 19th amendment
which gave women the right to vote. As part of the National Archives
"Rightfully Hers: American Women and the Vote" series, they are holding a
book talk and signing on May 23, 2019 at 7:00PM entitled, "America's Jewish
Women: A History >from Colonial Times to Today" with Pamela Nadell, American
University. This will include women form Emma Lazarus poet to labor
organizer Bessie Hillman and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
