A cousin of mine who wrote our family's history writes about an
Englishman ,Yitzchak LAZAROV
(spelling approx.) , a widower or divorcee who married my great great
grand mother , Gittle ABRAMOWITZ, second marriage for both.

They lived in Jerusalem. My cousin family sources had no details
regarding his life before this marriage besides the fact the he was
wealthy, had many children (>from his first wife, none >from second) .
My ancestress and he lived in the Mea Shearim neighborhood , which was
considered then an upperclass neighborhood in Jerusalem.

He seems to have died >from a broken heart over a sizable amount of
money which he lent to a Yeshiva in Jerusalem which seems to have gone
broke.

Does anyone have more details regarding the abova LAZAROV?
