Hello fellow researchers, Have found resident registration cards in Poznan archives which details the addresses of where my ancestors in Wongrowitz and in Gollantsch lived. The addresses relate to the early 1900's and before WW1.
During that time, the above places were within Prussia. Following WW1 the area came under Polish control and the names of the villages changed. Wongrowitz became Wagrowiec and Gollantsch became Golancz.
As the addresses on the card are in German and the street names have now also changed, it will be appreciated if someone is able to advise where I may possibly be able to obtain a street map for the above places prior to WW1.
