My grandmother's brother was Yitzchok Weinstock, born about August 15,
1895, probably in Ilok (present-day Croatia) or Zenta (present-day
Serbia) to his parents, Moritz (Moshe) Weinstock and Theresa (Cirel)
Stern. Yitzchok possibly had a given name of Ignacz or Isaac. His
extended family had many watchmakers. He was married in Paris, France,
where he had a jewelry store. Yitzchok was held up and he died in the
street. He was survived by a wife and children, names unknown.
I would guess this may have happened prior to WWII, but I am not sure.
Perhaps it was even in 50's or even 60's. How would I go about locating
his marriage and any newspaper report of the robbery and his death,
including his tombstone? I know of no other detail.
