In a message dated 11/27/2000 12:36:06 PM Eastern Standard Time,

I received an e mail a while back telling me that there was a problem in
using the forms that are system generated to order vital records >from the
Polish Archives. I do not remember the reason but we were told not to use
forms until some changes were made.
Has these changes been made? Is it OK to use the forms that are there
now and the address that are on these forms?
I cannot ell >from the web site if they have been updated.

The message is repeated below... Note, this only applies to orders
to the AGAD Archives. We are still trying to sort out things...

Dear friends.

We have just been asked by AGAD to announce and implement
a different procedure for the ordering of, and payment for,
records >from their archives.

There are a few points that require clarification; in addition, we
will need a little time to amend the ordering instructions for
AGAD records on the JRI-Poland web site.

To repeat: Do not send any more orders for copies of records to
AGAD until further notice. (The Tarnopol option has been temporarily
removed >from the Polish State Archives order form on our web site.)

Please hold **all** questions concerning this matter...whether or not
you have sent an order to AGAD or plan to do so. Your cooperation
will be appreciated.
