Good News for Siedlce Researchers #poland
Linda Altman <nyj12@...>
Dear Fellow Researchers,
I am very pleased to announce that indices to the Siedlce birth,
marriage and death records, >from 1858 to 1897 have now been
indexed and are ready to be added to the JRI-Poland online
database. But, before these indices can be released, we
need to complete the funding for this project.
To give you an opportunity to check to see if your family
names are included in the Siedlce records, JRI-Poland
has extracted all the surnames >from the indices and put
them online at:
The fundraising target for this project is $2,075. To date,
$355 has been raised. We need the help of all Siedlce
and area researchers to enable us to fully fund the project.
Until that time, the data cannot be added to the online
However, there is a way for you to see the data immediately.
Researchers contributing a minimum of US $75.00 are eligible
to receive a copy of the Siedlce Excel file with all the data.
This will be in advance of its general availability online in the
JRI-Poland Searchable Database.
Having the Excel file will enable you to study all the record
indices at once, and perhaps find a family name whose
connection you had forgotten, or to work with the data (for
example, sorting by first name) to search for a grandmother's
or great-grandmother's elusive maiden name.
Think of it as an investment in your family research and in the
future of all Siedlce researchers to come!
