With help >from Batya Unterschatz and a little luck, I have recently located
parts of Bubby's family with whom there has been no connection for about 70
years. They are all descendants of people who left Poland in the 1930's.
The new-found family are in Israel and Argentina.

It is especially troubling that I can't locate a close branch who came to the
U.S. in the 1920's or 1930's. The family name was originally Wyrzykiewich.
They were >from many little towns in the Bialystok-Tykocin area (Bokiny,
Kobylin, Sokoly, Stara Lupianka, Gac, Kowalewszczyna, ...). My mother's
first cousin saw Avrumke Wyrzykiewicz (or his son) in Brooklyn in 1936 or
1937. Avrumke and Iche Mottel Wyrzykiewicz (AKA Itzhack Mordecai
Wyrzykiewicz) apparently changed their last name to Gold. I believe Iche
Mottel had some work connection to B'nai Brith. Avrumke had 2 daughters:
Bernice Gold and ? Gold.

Other than contacting B'nai Brith, does anyone have any suggestions on how to
locate these family members? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Robin B. Seidenberg

Researching:

BRENNER, ERLICHMAN-Kamenets Podolskiy area (Zinkov, Proskurov, etc.)

BOGOSLOWSKY-Stavisht, Kiev, Ekaterinoslav

WANIEWSKI, WYRZYKIEWICZ- Bialystok-Tykocin area (Lomza gubernia)

With a little help >from B'nai Brith and a little luck, I have located the
family of Avrumke Wyrzykiewicz>Abraham Gold.
