I am Jenny FASAL I am emailing the list to enquire about the FASAL
family of TESCHEN, Silesia. MORITZ FASAL was born in TESCHEN 1841
(10.1.1841) - died Teschen 1919, just before Teschen became Polish Cieszyn.
A community and local government man with great charitable works and also
founder of the Talmud - Tora in 1876, which together with BERNARD GLESINGER
he initiated. MORITZ FASAL remained head of for a long time after.
Son of NATAN FASAL, Merchant of Teschen, Moritz FASAL also founded a liquor
factory in Teschen in 1868, producing a strong rosehip liquor - Rosolio,
including his famous 'Fasalowka'.
