Monday, August 6th,

9:15am - 10:15am.
Moldovan Archives: What Information We Can Find in
Addition to Vital Records and Revision Lists. You will find a lot about Jewish records in National
Archive of Moldova, Kishinev

4:00pm - 5:00pm.
JewishGen Bessarabia SIG Meeting. Learn what we did this
year and what is our plans for near future. Propose new projects, ideas.

6pm. Bessarabia SIG informal Dinner at Kosher Delight
(http://www.kosherdelightpoland.com/ ). We will have a nice meal, and a great discussion.

Wednesday, August 8th,
10:30am - 11:30am. Jewish Shtetl in Moldova without Jews: How Can the Jewish Past Be
Remembered? our guest >from Moldova Serghei Daniliuc and I will present. It is an
interesting story about a place were Jews once lived, and now we are trying keep their
memory alive.

2:45pm - 3:45pm. Jewish Cemeteries in Bessarabia/Moldova:
Current Status and Future Projects. our guest >from Moldova Serghei Daniliuc and I will
present. Cemeteries project is our one of the most important, and we will present to
you where we are standing with the project, and our plans, goals, and how you make
this process better.

I also offering anyone interested a personal session (15-20 minutes). You can bring
your questions, I will try to help you. Also please bring post cards, small letters if you
have written in Romanian - our guest Serghei Daniliuc offering help in translating them,
and something in Russian - Serghei and I will help you.
