I've posted the excerpt of an 1860 birth record showing the name of a town
that looks like Sielce Binnie? Mokotow.

Does anyone know what the middle name is and where this town is to be
found? The birth record was >from Nadarzyn, near Warsaw.

The town name excerpt is posted at

It seems curious that the town would have such a compound name.

Michael,

Town name should read:

"... wsi Sielce Gminie Mokotow...." which translates as ...village Sielce
Parish Mokotow...

Villages Sielce and Mokotow became an integral parts of the City of Warsaw
in 1916 during town's WWI German occupation.
