JRI-Poland AGAD Indexing 1912 Drohobycz and Boryslaw Galicia #poland
As JRI-Poland town leader for Drohobycz and Boryslaw I previously announced
that JRI-Poland had begun indexing newly available records for these two
Galician towns. Surviving 1906-1911 Births, Marriages and Deaths for both
Drohobycz and Boryslaw have been indexed and copies of the excel files are
now available to those who have contributed at least $100 to these projects.
We are excited to announce that the 1912 Births, Marriages and Deaths
for both Boryslaw and Drohobycz are now available for indexing at AGAD.
All JRI-Poland projects are funded by researcher contributions.
JRI-Poland will not load these indices to the online database until the
funds to pay for them have been raised. JRI-Poland estimates the remaining
cost for indexing the Drohobycz records is $650 for the 1906-1911 records
and $400 for the new 1912 records for a total of $1,050 to ensure all these
records are indexed and made available to all researchers online. JRI-Poland
estimates the remaining cost for indexing the Boryslaw records is $100 for
the 1906-1911 Marriages and $300 for the new 1912 records for a total of
$400 to ensure all these records are indexed and made available to all
researchers online at JRI-Poland.
If you are not familiar with the JRI-Poland database, please go to the
JRI-Poland homepage http://jri-poland.org/ to find out more. By clicking
on "Search the database," you can search the existing indexes (with image
links) that include all available Drohobycz records at the AGAD Archive
before 1906. For more information see the JRI-Poland page for the New
AGAD Archives Project: http://www.jri-poland.org/agad/2012transfers.htm
We depend on the generosity of those who benefit >from the database.
You will be the beneficiary of your own gift as will future generations
of researchers. Please contribute what you can. No donation is too small
but if you contribute at least $100 towards this Drohobycz project you
will receive a personal copy of the excel files containing all the
Drohobycz records that have and will soon be indexed. If you contribute
at least $100 towards the Boryslaw project you will receive a personal
copy of the excel files containing all the Boryslaw records that have and
will soon be indexed. You will receive the 1906-1911 index now and the 1912
index when it is completed. The sooner we receive contributions, the
sooner the record indices will be available online for everyone to research.
