My maternal grandparents were >from the shtetl Ostrowiec which I understand
was just outside the town of Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski in Poland. According to my grandfather, all inhabitants were murdered in an Einsatzgruppen action in 1941 and the village destroyed. I have been unable to find ANY records >from this shtetl, making it nearly impossible to trace my grandparents' relatives and their descendants. There are a few incidental records that I see >from nearby towns and villages, but not enough to find my family. Has anyone seen records >from this village? If so, where?
