Re: Bialystok SIG get-together #poland
Bialystoker
Dear Avigdor and other BIALYGen members:
A meeting of the BIALYGen group has been requested >from the
organizers of the Jerusalem Conference. Apparently these
SIG/Research Group meetings have not yet been scheduled. As soon
as I hear when this meeting will be, I will post that information
to the group.
As many of you know, the BIALYGen group started last year at the
Washington Conference and this year's meeting will be our second
annual meeting. As Avigdor suggests, this meeting has a dual
purpose -- to meet other members and to discuss our past and
future activities.
In addition to this meeting at the Conference, I am thinking of
arranging a visit to Kiriat Bialystok before, during, or after
the Conference. Information about Kiriat Bialystok can be found
at Ada Holtzman's Bialystok Memorial website at
http://www.zchor.org/bialystok/bialystok.htm and click on "Kiriat
Bialystok" in the top menu. If you are interested in such a
visit, please let me know.
See you in Jerusalem,
Mark Halpern
BIALYGen Coordinator

When and where will the BialyGen group get together at theJerusalem IAJGS
Conference? I don't see any time slot for this altho other SIGsare already
on the program. It would be a great opportunity to meet eachother and
discuss our mutual interests. I hope everyone who can will bethere in any
case.
