Key/legend for the 1929 Polish Business Directory #poland

Celia Haupt

Hello

I am interested in finding the key or legend for 1929 Polish Business
Directory (Ksiega Adresowa Polski (Wraz z w.m. Gdanskiem) dla Handlu,
Przemyslu Rzemiosl I Rolnictwa), located here:
http://jri-poland.org/bizdir/start.htm and the table of contents here:
http://jri-poland.org/bizdir/tableofcontents.htm .

What is the meaning of the abbreviations and symbols used? For
instance, one particular entry says: "Spozywcze artykuly
(comestibles): Bachur A. ; Czyz P. Gutenska R. ;
Gutenski B. ; X Gutenski J. ; X Kaplan Sz." or "Wiatraki
(moulins a vent): Jewtuch Ig.(Pn.) Klimuk M. (Up.)
Korsak S. (B.) Mazko M. (Up.) Sieniuta M. (Ps.).".

What do the following mean: X, (Pn.), (Up.) (B.) etc?

Thanks
Celia (Haupt)
