Hello fellow researchers,
My father's parents, Judes (Yehuda) PIENIONZEK
(Caspi), and Raiza (Shoshana) GRINGRAS, were born in
Wasosz, Lomza Gubernia, Poland.
We have lost touch with some of our relatives who
emigrated to Argentina. My GF had a brother named
Froim PIENIONZEK b. 1878. I have a hunch that he is
the same Froim PIENIAZEK who died in Argentina in 1950
(found in cemetery records).
The brother of my GF who emigrated to Argentina
(possibly Froim) had at least three sons, one of whom
was named Jankev. He is possibly deceased by now.
Any link to a member of this family would be greatly
On my GM's side, I found Yad Vashem Pages of Testimony
for Zalmen GRINGRAS and his family of eight children.
The pages were filled out by his daughter Luisa
GRINGRAS de BOGDANOWICZ in Argentina. She listed her
parents and six of her brothers and sisters has having
perished in the Holocaust. She obviously survived in
Argentina, and there may have been another brother or
sister who survived. Any link to a member of this
family would be greatly appreciated.
