BIALYGen Meeting at the Conference #poland


The IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy in
New York City is less than 2 weeks away. The Third Annual
Meeting of the BIALYGen SIG will be held on Thursday, August
17 >from 2:45 PM to 4:00 PM in the Olmstead/ Gramercy Room on
the Seventh Floor of the Conference Hotel. I hope many of
you will be able to attend.

The planned Agenda for this meeting is as follows:

Professor of American Jewish History at Columbia University
will talk about her research for her upcoming book,
"Shifting Diasporas: Bialystok, Mass Migration and the
Reshaping of Modern Jewish Identity."

& Sonia Hoffman, The Jewish Family History Foundation

4. What's New at the BIALYGen website

5. BIALYGen Research Projects -- Sid Zabludoff, our Research
Coordinator will tell us about a few recent projects and
lead a discussion about ideas for future projects.

6. Judy Baston will summarize the 1919 Bialystok Community
Council Report.
