Letters from Latvia 1919 - 1939 and more #latvia

Linda Cedarbaum <linda.m25@...>

I have a trove of 100's family letters and postcards written in an
eclectic mix of Latvian, Yiddish, Hebrew and English including Yiddish
words in Latvian script between several family members in Dvinsk and
Palestine, and later also New York, Chicago and Capetown from
1919-1960's. I want to get them translated but have limited resources
and do not know where to turn. I knew all the principle writers or
knew their stories. Most interesting are the letters >from my
great-grandparents in Dvinisk up until their deaths, in their home, by
Nazis, as well as my great-uncle's and my grandfather's letters from
Palestine with a group of other young people >from Dvinsk 1919-1925. I
am looking for someone who can help with this project. My Latvian
family name is Oboler.
Thank you- Linda Breiner Cedarbaum
