The Lithuanian Jewish Division in World War II #lithuania

To Litvak SIG:

A few years ago I came across a book, issued by the Association of
Lithuanian Jews In Israel, about the Lithuanian Jewish Division in World
War II. The book I saw was in Yiddish, but I understand that it also
exists in Hebrew. It contains much descriptive material, as well as
lists of names, including year of birth and (where applicable) date of
death, whether during the war or afterward. I believe that it also
includes hometowns. It is fully indexed and (if permission is received)
could make a wonderful addition to the ALD. If this is done, I would
suggest the Yiddish version be used because the names would be in their
original language.
