Why Only a Few Double Given Names on Revision Lists? #lithuania

Ziegelman <zieg_exp@...>

I have always thought that our ancestors had double first names, like Ariyeh
Leib, Sarah Rachel and Chana Ruchel. In the books written by Dr. Alexander
Bieder I've read about the naming practices of our ancestors, and the
explanations behind the various customs.

What, therefore, explains the single given names listed on the 1850 Kurenecs
and Postawy Revision Lists?

Kind regards,
Andi Alpert Ziegelman
