Prerequisites for this work include the following:
1. Willingness to read neat Lithuanian script, correctly account for diacritical marks, and enter the data into an Excel spreadsheet
2. Excellent familiarity with Jewish given names and surnames and interpreting Lithuanian spelling of same
Another requirement we are looking to fill is for someone interested in the city of Vilna who can read Cyrillic to perform data entry similar to that outlined above. This list is more current than the vital records and in good handwriting.
