The JewishGen Lithuanian vital records translation project has obtained 1925-1940 birth, death and marriage records for Panevezys. These records and not available to private researchers. These records are very important because many of those mentioned died in the Holocaust. Also, the death records are important because the Panevezys cemetery no longer exists.
