The listing of Lithuanian shtetl and family/surname research group leaders
and links to town and family websites on
http://www.jewishgen.org/litvak/research.htm is in need of
updating. Please give me your additions, corrections, or deletions in
regard to any of the following:

1. If you are a shtetl or family/surname research group leader for a town
or family that is currently listed, check to make sure that the link to
your email address and your website (if any) is accurate.

2. If you are a shtetl or family/surname research group leader for a town
or family that is not currently listed, give me your name and email
address, the name of the town or family/surname, and the URL of any website
connected with it. Just be sure that the town or family/surname is
associated with one of the 13 Lithuanian uyezds (districts) listed at the
top of the aforementioned website.

3. If you are not a shtetl or family/surname group leader and do not want
to be, but do have a website for your town and/or surname/family, let me
know so that I can add it. Again be sure that the town or family/surname
is associated with one of the 13 Lithuanian uyezds.

4. If you are listed as a shtetl or family/surname research group leader
and are inactive or no longer interested in pursuing the role, let me know
so that I can delete your name. That would free up the spot for someone
else, such as a Vital Records Translation (VRT) Project co-ordinator, which
would enhance their visibility for the benefit of recruitment and
fundraising efforts.

Note that the listing of shtetl and family/surname group leaders is not a
Family Finder. If you are researching a particular Litvak town or surname,
but don't want to be an active research group leader and/or don't have a
town or family-related website, the place to register your town(s) and
surname(s) is the JewishGen Family Finder.
