I am looking for information about the Herschman/Gerschman
family originally >from Vitebsk and then Velikye-Luki. My Grandfather
Harry Herschman came to NY at about the turn of the last century. One of
his brothers and 2 nephews came to Palestine, one and one sister brother
and her son went to France, and at least one brother remained in Russia.
I would be very happy to receive some information.

The family was descendent >from the Vilna Gaon.
