Ukmerge Dist. records & Internal Passport records-offered at a discount
A $100 contribution has been required in order to receive all of the
Ukmerge District records as they were translated. Internal Passport
records, 1919-1940, exist for Ukmerge and for Utena, both located in
the Ukmerge district. A $100 contribution is required for each of
those towns. Together, a $300 contribution is required to receive
all of the district records as well as the Internal Passport records.
Through a cooperative agreement between Roy Ogus, Coordinator of the
Ukmerge District Research Group; and Howard Margol, Coordinator of the
Lithuanian Internal Passport Project, 1919-1940: all remaining district
and I. P. records translated involving the Ukmerge District will be
available on the Ukmerge District Nexo web site for those who qualify.
If you are already a member of the Ukmerge District Research Group, you
will receive the Ukmerge Internal Passport records, at no extra charge,
as they are translated. If you are already a contributor to the Ukmerge
I. P. records, you will be allowed access into the Ukmerge District
Research Group Nexo web site and be allowed to obtain all of the district
records in addition to the future Ukmerge I. P. records as they are
translated. Roy Ogus will contact you and give you the required password.
The Utena (Ukmerge district) Internal Passports will also be translated
in the near future. Members of the Ukmerge District Research Group, as
well as previous contributors to the Ukmerge I. P. records, can receive
these records by contributing $50.00 to LitvakSIG, designated for the
Ukmerge District. This is a 50% discount >from the usual contribution
If you are not already a member of the Ukmerge District Research Group,
and have not contributed to the Ukmerge I. P. records, you need to make a
$200 contribution to LitvakSIG and become eligible to receive all of the
above records as they are translated. You will receive a very large
number of important records at a savings of $100. This special offer will
only be good between now and the LitvakSIG annual meeting scheduled during
the Philadelphia conference on August 5, 2009.
This special offer is only good >from now until August 5th. After that, it
will revert back to what has been - $100 for Ukmerge district records, $100
for Ukmerge I. P. records, and $100 for Utena I. P. records.

your credit card as the site is secure. Be sure and designate your
contribution is for the Ukmerge District and you will receive all
of the records.
