Re: Were there female dentists in Ukmerge, Lithuania in 1933? #lithuania

Stephen Weinstein, looking at internal passport records, asked if there
were female dentists in Lithuania in 1933; Howard Margol confirmed that
the Dusia/Dushe in question was a dentist. My distant cousin Elisabeth
MARUCHESS, b. 1883 in Tula to parents >from Vilnius, was also a dentist;
she came to the US as a young woman, and was listed as a dentist in
Brooklyn, NY in the 1910 US census.

Yours sincerely,
