A new project of the Lithuania State Archives includes digitizing
genealogy records "All will be able to find out their family history:
documents that have been published for many years will become public."

The goal is to provide the public, business and other interested
state archive information user groups with unified access to the
sources of state archives information, creating three new interactive
electronic services: Digital Reading Room, Genealogy and Personal
Names Archive.
