I am searching for the whereabouts of Gershon Joseph (Gerszon Josef) FRYDEL,
of Lodz, born June 12, 1909, survivor of the Lodz ghetto and Auschwitz, or
his descendants. He was married to Chana, born 1910, and their son was
Moshe, born 1938. Chana and her child(ren) did not survive, according to
information supplied by my family.
I believe Gershon Joseph FRYDEL is my uncle, but I did not know his surname
until very recently. I have no information as to which country he may have
immigrated to after the war.
I plan to do all the usual research such as Arolsen films, Red Cross
tracing, Pages of Testimony at Yad Vashem, and so on. I also checked the
U.S. Social Security Death Index but did not find him. I would just like to know
if this name rings a bell with anyone. Also, if a kind soul wouldn't mind looking
up his name in the Israeli white pages, I would be most appreciative.
