Lodz newspapers from the 1920s-30s and more at YIVO #poland #lodz

I just discovered that YIVO in New York City has the Yiddish newspaper,
the Lodzer tageblat, those editions issued in 1921 and >from 1929-32,
on microfilm (and in Yiddish). They also have other newspapers, journals
and other publications, such as the Folksblat, Ilustrirter Lodzer
vokhenblat, Lodzer arbeter tsaytung, Nayes Lodzer morgenblaṭ, Unzer
Lodzer veker, Lodzer handels tsaytung, the Lodz Yizkor Book and the Lodz
Almanac, et al.

As well, they have material on various Lodz landsmanshaftn, e.g. the
Lodzer Young Mens Benevolent Society (including its 35th anniversary
book >from 1937, and more), and the Lodzer Young Ladies Aid Society.

You can search for information on the aforementioned publications and
more on the CJH (Center for Jewish History) Catalog by searching the
Internet under the words “cjh catalog” and clicking on the link supplied
to you.
