I know that Poznan is somewhat out of the range of this research group.
My father's family is mainly >from Kalisz and Zdunska Wola. However,
my grandparents and some of their siblings >from this area moved to
Poznan in the 1920's and early '30's. My father remembers his street
address, although he was only 6 in 1939 when he and his parents ran
from the German invasion. The address was 12 or 14 Uliza Pieracskiego. I find this street name
in a directory of that time, but can't find the street on any current
map. I am guessing that the name was changed to something else. I
believe it was in the old city, not far >from Stary Rynic or the Citadel.
Does anyone have any idea where I could find an interwar map of Poznan?
Thanks for all that you are doing in this group.
