A relative of mine was living at T Strasse 28/18 in Lodz Ghetto. The "T"
seems to be a German short form for a street in the Ghetto.
Can someone please tell me what the name of this street was, in Polish
and in German?
I have found lists of streets in the Ghetto, but have not found one that
shows the names as they relate to the alphabetic system used in some
records by the Germans. If there is one, I am sure many of us would be
interested to know.

According to my records the T Street was Cranachstrasse with the
original Polish names Zydowska / Aleksandryjska before the German
occupation, after 1945 it was renamed "Bojownikow Getta Waszawskiego",
which is the name of the street today. There is a list of street codes
for the Ghetto streets, but I found it false in many cases. I found that
the information above about the T street correct in more than five
instances,

I hope that helps
