Rabbinical family FRENSDORFF in Hamburg & Hanover, 18th-19th cents #rabbinic

I am looking for any information on the FRENSDORFFs, a rabbinical/scholarly
family in Hamburg and Hanover.

They were descendants of R. Meyer Halevy FRENSDORFF, of the village of
Frensdorf, near Bamberg.

His son, Rabbi Michael Meyer FRENSDORFF, scholar and acting "Landrabbiner"
in Hanover, died 1810.

One descendant was Solomon FRENSDORFF (1803-1880), masoretic scholar, was
born in Hamburg. (He had studied with Isaac Bernays; he was a friend of
Rabbi S. R. Hirsch and, between 1834 and 1837, he was assistant rabbi in
Frankfort. >from 1837 he taught at the religious school in Hanover; and
from 1848 he was head of the newly founded Teachers' Training College
there.

I'd appreciate any information. My family was the only Levitical famile of
the three Jewish families in Frensdorff, dating back to Suesslein Hirsch
[Shim`on Naftali?] in about 1650; the natural assumption is that the two
families are related but I have not been able to find this Meyer in the
Frensdorff records.

Does anyone know how to search for records Yeshiva students in Germany in
the 18th century? Fuerth looks like the most likely Yeshiva where meyer
frensdorff may have been a student. Any others?

Thanks
