Why is R' Naftali Zvi HOROWITZ of Ropczyce buried in Lancut?
According to Chassidic legend, The Rupshitzer wanted to be buried
there, because his Rebbe, the Chozeh, said that "the mountain smells
good." Also, when he became ill before his demise, he went to see a
doctor in Reisha. The doctor had departed by then and had gone to
Lancut, so he followed him there. He died there, and thus was buried
there.
