CORRECTED Yizkor Book Report for July 2008 #rabbinic

The Yizkor Book Project Report posted earlier this week was a repost
of last month's report. Apologies for this inadvertent error.

During the month of July 2008 the Yizkor Book Project added three new
books, two new entries, and 11 updates. All additions have been flagged at to make it easy for
researchers to find them. At this site all translations are also listed in
four categories: regions, communities, miscellaneous, and other languages.

Also note the Yizkor Book Database at
<>, which is a master
bibliographic database of most published yizkor books and other books
written about particular towns or areas. Another valuable resource is the
necrology index at <>, which is an
index of the names of persons in the necrologies--the lists of Holocaust
martyrs--published in our translated yizkor books. The necrologies are also
