I have been unsuccessful in finding anything on the USHM site. I don't know why.

My searches for the Treibitz family of Soroka, Bessarabia have been limited to one document, the Duma Voters list of 1906. Anita Lingan Rosenberg searching TREIBITZ and SHAPIRO. Originally, I wrote USHMM and they e-mailed me the document in about 2 or 3 weeks. I still had some questions, so about a year later, when I found myself in Washington DC, I visited the USHMM and retreived the same document again, as well as a few additional documents. None were translated, I had to do that myself, but most of the documents were in Romanian (i.e. Latin alphabet), and most of the information on the lists were names, which really just need to be transcribed, not translated. The original document, and a translation can be viewed on the JewishGen Leova ShtetLinks site: < http://www.shtetlinks.jewishgen.org/leova >. The staff at the USHMM archive were very helpful.
