The photographing of the Velenta Cemetery gravestones is progressing. We have photographed about 400 new readable stones which should come online soon. The western section of the cemetery should be completed this year and perhaps we can start on the eastern section as well. If you have not yet donated to this project please consider doing so. Remember we are supplying geocoded coordinates for each grave so when a descendant visits the cemetery to view his ancestor's stone, he or she can easily find it by their phone.
