It is a long time since I added data to the 1897 Census in the JewishGen
Latvia Database. I am very excited as I now have
2,000 names to be added. They include names >from small villages, so will be
of great interest.
When I originally added the 1897 census data to Jewishgen Latvia Database I
did not mention that children's names were not included and once again
children's names are not included. The 1897 data was subsequently linked to
the Raduraksti site and the same will apply this time. Researchers that find
family names can further their research on the Raduraksti site or by direct
contact with the Latvian Archives.
It will take time to get the data up but I wanted to share this with you as
it is something to look forward to.
