The next annual IAJGS conference on Jewish Genealogy will take place in
Chicago on August 17-22, 2008. I've received a request >from the
organizers to let them know no later than November 1, 2007 whether the
SIG wishes to reserve time for a Sephardic SIG meeting at the conference
and the amount of time requested. Before replying and making the
arrangements for such a Sephardic SIG meeting at the Chicago conference
I need to hear whether there is interest in such a meeting being
arranged.

Apparently no requests for SIG meetings will be accepted after this Nov
1, 2007 so I need to let them know before then. Please reply to me ASAP
at JeffMalka@... whether you wish for me to reserve time
for a SIG meeting at the Chicago meeting so that I reply accordingly. I
would be glad to fill out the proper forms and request the time but need
to first know if there is interest and if there will be attendees.

When replying, please also give me ideas of what you wish to see as the
program for this Sephardic SIG meeting at the Chicago conference.
