Hi Maria,

FELLOUS is a well-established name among Tunisian Jews. Paul Sebag
writes (and I translate loosely): >from the Arabic fellûs, "little
chicken", children's nickname transformed into a family name. Found in
Tunis in the 1800s, kettubah of Isaac son of David Fellous, and Simha
daughter of Joseph Camio dated 22 september 1858 (registres
matrimoniaux de la communauté juive portugaise de Tunis n° 666).

Best regards,
