GERSTEIN #ukraine

Alvin Burstein <aburstein@...>

My grandmother, Pearl Gerstein, my mother, Jennie (Tsena) Gerstein and my
mother's two brothers, Hime and Harry, immigrated >from Kiev to Omaha,
Nebraska about 1910. My mother was born in Kiev about 1896. Her mother,
Pearl, was licensed as a stocking maker and I believe she also worked as a
practical nurse. Any information about the name GERSTEIN in Kiev of that
era would be appreciated. AGB
