Internal Passport Records in Ukraine Archives #ukraine

I'm interested in hearing >from genners who have used the registers of
"internal" passports issued by the imperial Russian government in the 19th
and early 20th century (i.e., residence permits or travel documents
generally given for short periods of several months to a year). Books of
issued passports may be found in the records of local town councils in
Ukrainian regional archives and are sometimes a trove of personal
information about the individuals who received them. I am looking for
information such as: For what towns and years have registers been preserved?
What standard formats were used at various times? Please contact me
