Mr. Johansson,
Yes, but it is a big mystry and I don't know where to get info to compare my chart to. I have written letters to ask about what it all means and have gotten no response. When you take the DNA test through this organization you receive results >from both parents. Hope that helps. Sincerely, Yudy Dear sirs, I am new to this group. As far as I know matrilineal descent is usually part of being Jewish, but I doubt that this was always the case. There might have been many non-Jewish women married into and accepted by the Jewish community. Has there been any research done in the field of Jewish mtDNA? If so is the case, it is possible to have a test done? sincerely, Conrad Johansson Sweden _________________________________________________________________________= Get Your Private, Free E-mail >from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.= Share information about yourself, create your own public profile at = http://profiles.msn.com. ----------- Please check the DNA FAQ before writing, = there you can find many questions answered already: http://www.familytreedna.com/faqjg.html To post to the DNA discussion group, send your message to: <dna@lyris.jewishgen.org> = DNA Website: http://www.jewishgen.org/dna/ This Discussion Group (dna@lyris.jewishgen.org) is hosted by JewishGen: The Home of Jewish Genealogy Visit our home page at http://www.jewishgen.org --- You are currently subscribed to dna as: [jart59@netscape.net] To unsubscribe send email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://home= =2Enetscape.com/webmail
