Libau #ukraine

Sheldon was wondering about travel to the US via the port of Libau.

in 1912, my great-grandmother and her 3 young daughters (including my
grandmother) took a train >from Yelizavetgrad (now Kirovohrad), in the
eastern Ukraine, to Libau, and arrived in Philadelphia by way of
Liverpool.

Apparently, Libau was not an uncommon port of departure, for my
grandfather passed through Libau before he came to America and met my
grandmother.
