Network with fellow researchers, experts and archivists at the premiere
event of the Jewish genealogy world, the 27th IAJGS International Conference
on Jewish Genealogy, Sunday, July 15, through Friday, July 20, in Salt Lake
City. The conference will feature a film festival, special exhibits, the
resources of the Family History Library and a wide array of presentations.
The conference website, www.slc2007.org, holds the key to programs, research
guidance, up-to-date information and easy-to-use registration

Here are some highlights:

MEET & EAT: Nine SIGs will hold luncheons and there will be four Breakfasts
with the Experts focused on the Family History Library’s extensive regional
resources. All meals have kosher options. Click “Conference Program” ->
“SIG/BOF” and “Breakfast with the Experts.”

PAST & PRESENT: A unique photographic exhibit of life in an Eastern European
community before the Holocaust, shown previously at major museums, will be
on display. Click “Photographic Exhibit.” The second Jewish Film Festival
will offer a large variety of topical films. Click “Conference Program” –>
“Film Program.”

TALK ABOUT IT: The SLC2007 discussion group is now open for your questions
