Willi [Willy] FENSTER was a little boy - if you look at "Letter to the Stars"
http://www.lettertothestars.at/ you will read: Willy was born on 22.07.1933 in ? His last known address was Wien 2, Rueppgasse 2/9. Willy Fenster was deported on 09.10.1942 >from Vienna to Theresienstadt. No more details are known about his fate. If you cross-check you will find he was deported together with Gertrude FENSTER {5 May 1911} and Bereg FENSTER 11 Sept 1940. Willi is not just a name, as we can see his last poignant postcard, [beautifully written for a ten yr old child in those circumstances] on sale at ebay [url given according to new Jewishgen ruling]: http://tinyurl.com/ynzbzt Willi sent his card addressed to Herr Otto BOCK, Wien II, Ferdinandstraße 25/60, >from Theresienstadt – Langestrasse 18 on 16 July 1944 just before his 11th birthday: Dear Mr Otto; I have heard of your kindness often. So I am writing to you with permission >from Tante Roserl. My Mutti lives together with her in one room since our arrival together. Tante Rosi is very kind to my Mutti and my three yr old brother. My Mutti often goes with Tante Roserl to weibi, who is very sweet and plump. etc etc. Shortly after this card was written, Willi, his Mutti Gertrude and little brother Bereg and most probably Tante Roserl were all murdered. I would love to find some relatives of Willi so as to return the card to its rightful home. I have not enough time to do the research work, which is a great shame. The card should not go to a stamp collector. There are POTs on yad vashem for other FENSTER >from Vienna but not for this family. The name and fate of Willi's father is not known to me.
