I thought perhaps some researchers might be familiar with the family
names listed below, or even the actual individuals, so I have posted
it on ViewMate as VM9585. You can view it if you go to
http://data.jewishgen.org/viewmate/ALL/viewmateview.asp?key=9585

The photo is >from my grandmother Mina Grunseid Weisz's collection, and
is of her brother Max GRUNSEID and his schoolfriends, in Vienna, from
1916, or else I am misreading the date on the back and it is 1919. My
great-uncle was born in 1900. He did not make it >from Vienna to the
United States without several mishaps along the way, until the 1930s
(and then, as Max Greenside).

School friends of Max Grunseid, Vienna, date on back it says: Org
Mutergymn., gegen Pergymnasiumn 2:2 Aufstellnngves Untergymnun am 16/5
19 Stetend [Standing]: PROCK, KNAFFL, TRIEGLER, PICKLER, KESSLER,
STAPPLER, THOMARC. Sitzend [SEATED]: KORRETH, GRUNSEID, GLASER, ZOON

Please let me know if you find any family connections on the photo!
