New Y-DNA designations at Family Tree DNA #dna

Alison Greengard <aligreengard@...>

Hello,
I am hoping someone can help me interpret my husband's new Y-DNA
results at Family Tree DNA. He used to be E-M35.1 with many pages
of matches. He is now E-L542 with only 14 matches total which
surprised us. I assume this is a small subset of E1b1b1, or perhaps
I am mistaken. Could someone tell me what the actual subset is?
And how to interpret these new results?

Thank you,
